Guide
In Fibery, Admins can see all the Spaces, Databases, and Entities a person or a group has access to in one place:
When to manage access from User's or Group's side
Typically, you would start with what you'd like to share (Share Space, Share Database, or Share Entity) and only then decide who should get access.
However, sometimes you care about who before what. For example, when:
troubleshooting [the lack of] access;
providing access to a newly created group or newly invited user;
reviewing permissions when someone changes roles within their company.
In these cases, it's tedious (or even unfeasible) to go through Spaces or Databases one by one. Instead, you start with a User or a Group.
Where to find User's and Group's access management
To review and update a User's or Group's access, select Manage access from the context menu anywhere in your workspace:
What kind of access can be managed for User or Group
You can see what Spaces, Databases, and Entities (e.g. Tasks, Features, or Contacts) a User or a Group has access to:
If you have the right permissions yourself, you can also update or revoke the existing access as well as share more Spaces, Databases, and Entities:
So far, only direct access appears here: for example, if group Developers gets access to a Space and Bernard is a member, we'll display this Space on the Developers' access page but not on the Bernard's.
Who can manage User's and Group's access
User: Admins only.
User Group: anyone who can revoke access for the Group, meaning Owner of a particular Group or Architect in Space/Database the Group comes from.
