Guide
With Notion integration, you can either import your Pages and Databases as well as Person properties as People fields from Notion to Fibery or sync them continuously.
How to connect Notion to Fibery?
Create Space or Database
When creating a new Space or Database, select
Allow access to selected Notion Pages
Provide Fibery integration with access to the Pages (incl. Databases) that you'd like to see in Fibery.
If you don't see some Databases on this screen, try selecting their parent Pages. In our case, Demo page has two databases (Features and Tasks) inside.
Select Data Sources to grab
Select the Data Sources you would like to sync from :notion: (incl. Pages for all non-Database Pages) in the next step. These will become Databases in :fibery-mint:.
Click Sync or Import - and the integration will start.
How much of Pages content is preserved
We try our best matching Notion blocks to Fibery's rich-text elements. If you notice some formatting missing, html <tags> appearing out of nowhere, or images not loading, please let us know here or via support chat.
What is not supported at the moment:
All file fields are synced into one files section in Fibery.
Sync standalone pages
Standalone pages are synced into a new Pages Database and their hierarchy is captured via a one-to-many self-relation, so you can visualize them in the sidebar using a Smart Folder.
Current limitations
If you are transitioning from Notion, let us know what's missing.
Importing teammates
Any Member of your Notion workspace will be imported automatically. If a person is in a Person field, they will be invited to your Fibery space and get access to the same databases.
However, Notion Guests are not imported. If you have people who are only guests in your Notion teamspace, the importer will skip them.
You will need to invite these people yourself from the Users database in Fibery.
For example as:
Observers: A good choice for clients or partners who only need to view data, as these seats are free.
Other roles: Assign any other role that fits how they need to work within your new setup.
