Guide
You can share a whole Space to the web. This is handy for cases like a product changelog, user guide, process documentation, product roadmap, etc.
Publish space to web
Click … near Space name and select Manage access
Click Publish to web button in the top right corner
Click Copy public link to get he link and share it with people
When you share a space publicly, Fibery will automatically generate a preview image for it. The image includes the space icon and name placed on a branded background. Here is how the preview looks like for a Release Notes View in a Public Changelog Space.
What is shared?
Everything inside shared space is shared (viewable), including documents, Views, Databases, entities, whiteboards. All you see in the sidebar will be visible to any user on the internet.
Data from other closed spaces is not shared.
For example, you may have a view in a shared space that shows a database from a closed space. In this case, the view will be visible, but it will be empty.
Or you may have a reference to an entity in a closed space, in this case, it will not be visible.
Semantic Search works in public Spaces — it shows results from all databases that are both part of the public Space and added to Semantic Search.
Is shared space SEO-friendly?
It is, but it is not heavily optimized. It is visible for search engines, but shared documents and entities in Fibery are not static pages and Google might not like them very much.
See what Spaces are published to web
Fibery clearly shows in the sidebar if a Space is published and visible to the internet. This helps you stay in control of what information is public.
For workspace architects: You can quickly notice if a Space was published by mistake and unpublish it to keep data private.
For end-users: You can easily recognize if a Space is public and avoid adding sensitive information there.
This way, you won’t be surprised by discovering your Space in a Google search — the visibility status is always clear.
