How to adjust display settings
Hide fields when empty
You can selectively hide empty fields on most views with a per-field setting. This feature allows you to hide fields that are empty and unnecessary while keeping others visible. Accessible through the "Fields" menu, simply click the ">" button next to a visible field and toggle the "Hide when empty" setting.
Display Fields as Icon buttons
You can display URL, Phone, and Email fields as small icons. Use Display as property in the Fields selector to configure it in any View.
How to show Fields from related Entities

In addition to displaying the Fields of the Entities that are visualized on a View, you can also grab Fields from related entities.
Here are a few use cases:
On a Table View with Contacts, display columns for Contact → Company → State and Contact → Company → Revenue to understand how rude you can be nice you should be to each person.
On an Entity View for Employees, show Employee → User → Vacations to save yourself a click.
Why not use Lookups over related Fields
Unlike Lookups, related Fields:
are editable;
respect access to the source Entity;
don't require Architect access to the Database to be displayed;
support relation Views when displayed on an Entity View;
are automatically hidden if the corresponding relation is empty.
How to show a related Field
Make sure the relation Field which you'd like to grab extra Fields from is displayed.
For example, to show Feature → Release → Date, you'll have to display Feature → Release first.
Navigate to this relation Field's display settings by clicking >.
In our example, it's Release >.
Toggle the Fields you are looking for in the Extra Fields section.
Enable Date here.
Once you display a related Field, it is marked with an icon of its relation to distinguish it from the native Fields.
An alternative way to display a related Field is from the relation Field's context menu:
What related Fields are available
You can grab pretty much any Field via a to-one relation on any View:
Contact → Company → Revenue (number)
Contact → Company → Deals (to-many relation)
Contact → Company → Files
On Entity View, you can also grab relation Fields via to-many relations:
Related Fields can only go one extra level deeper:
FAQ
Can we display rich-text Fields on Views?
Yes, but only as snippets and only on some Views. Rich-text Fields are currenlty supported on Board, Table, List, and Whiteboard Views. There is a special Rich Edit Field Name (Snippet) unit that you can select.
This snippet size is based on the Card size.
